All Packed and getting Excited!

So this is how I will live from Sunday to Friday.... out of 3 bags. Makes life less stressful immediately, only having to think about what day we are on, where our next rest stop will be and what times dinner/lunch/breakfast? Cant wait to get started now! I hope Blog updates will be regular, the only place we wont have a signal for definite is Crianlarich but I will update the next morning as we move along the Way again.

Sniffs Coughs Sinuses and Flu!

The four of us have been suffering from all of the above in varying degrees and it has led to bed rest for some! Hopefully this will stand us in good stead for the Way!

Bay Cottage....... Mrs Bates provides afternoon Tea on arrival! A hot tub and a trip to the Oak Tree if we can make it across the road!
Mon 1/4 - BALMAHA - INVERSNAID 14 miles
Inversnaid Bunkhouse ..........Roughing it for the night!
Tues 3/4 - INVERSNAID - CRIANLARICH 13 miles
Craignank B&B....... a wee easy day!
Wed 4/4 - CRIANLARICH - INVERONAN 15 miles
Inveronan Hotel......... Hope there's a walkers entrance.....
Thur 5/4 - INVERONAN - KINLOCHLEVEN - 19 miles
Edencoille Guest House........on the home stretch

Training!

There has been lots of preparation for this challenge, all of which might not be obvious from this blog. Training walks have been happening every 2-3 weeks, and most can be seen at

We have another walk to Kilcreggan tomoroow and then a final meeting which takes place on 10th March where we will discuss what we are bringing. There is still some discussion around size of daypacks we need as it will depend on the weather very much how much we need to carry. We have booked our luggage service and are paying for 2 bags to be carried for us. We will share our stuff out between them.
We have booked the bus for our journey home from Fort William and intend having champagne and nibbles to celebrate as we head home.
